One of the reasons I like metabattle is that it gives different options for gear & builds and the impact it will have. It also has builds for PvP, WvW & a variety of open world PvE content, which is what I use it for.Īll of the builds from any website are to be taken with a grain of salt and you can switch things up if you want. Metabattle also has raid & fractal builds, but the other sites are generally better for those. Discretize is like Snowcrows, but for fractals. I've seen sites like it in the past, but they stopped updating.Ī couple of sites not featured are discreitize and metabattle. The gw2timer website is new to me, and looks is interesting. It also features Snowcrows which features a variety of builds, which is insanely over-tuned for optimal damage for raid encounters, and not always ideal for open world encounters. It is mostly designed for those being efficient with the end game content. It features GW2efficiency & the fast farming websites I've linked in the past, but explains them a little and what you can get out of them. Here is a video on some of the 3rd party sites associated with Guild Wars 2. My understanding is that you can do the same thing for the Jackal, which normally appears later in the expansion, but it requires a higher level of mastery for either the Skimmer or the Springer for the heart to appear and also requires a good deal more gold, so we decided to let that one wait. The only caveat is that you have to have trained the Canyon Jumping mastery for the Raptor for either Heart to even show up, so you'll need to do some grinding for that and for the trade contracts. If you've got a friend to help you teleport to these locations (and I'd be more than happy to help if we can get the timing right!) you don't even need to do anymore story than you needed for the raptor. The Springer is 1 gold and 50 trade contracts, and the Skimmer is (if I remember) 4 gold and 50 trade contracts. From there, you need to do a Heart quest to open up the merchant who will sell you the next mount. Luckily, we had a couple of friends who grouped up with us, teleported to the waypoints near where you can get the next few mounts and then we used Teleport to Friend tokens to snag those waypoints. Like you though, we're really interested in the story, so we didn't want to play things too out of order. Then, from there, you can talk with another NPC that points you in the right direction for the next mount. If I remember correctly, you're supposed to get the next mount by traveling through a zone and finding a place that you can't pass with just your raptor, and someone points you to where you can find the next mount. We're eager to see what happens when we get to this point! The only story we had to engage in was the opening to Path of Fire to get the raptor, which you've already got! We recognized names, but had no context for anything, so for us it was more of a teaser than a spoiler. Shouldn't come up with them when you're tired and about to crash. So, in that particular case you make the Charges Quartz (which is time gated) and then use that to make a Xunlai Electrum Ingot, which you can then sell for 2 gold profit.Īlso, yeah, that title. If you click on them it'll show you things you can make with those items and then sell, since Charged Quartz & Lumps of Mithrilium are account bound. Down at part 8, there's a list of things you can craft daily. If you've been playing, you should have them. LS3 & LS4 do occasionally go on sale, but the "Return to." event currently going on has been locking those chapters. Teleport to Friends are also recommended though.Ĭongrats on finishing the Personal Story! I don't remember much of LS1, other than fighting Karka with a billion other people, and, well, the stuff that's been turned into Fractals. I'll let Eel answer, but to my recollection, you don't have to do any of the personal story for the base mounts other than doing the first part for the raptor.
